Owner, Lisa Long is a Certified Dog Trainer with Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator with the American Kennel Club (AKC) for the past ten years, Lisa has worked directly with dogs. She is a member of national training associations, the International Association of Canine Professionals, and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and is a certified canine nutritionist.
Lisa is well versed in nearly all methods of dog training, from clicker training to remote collars, and finds that each has its place.
She currently owns two Bullmastiffs, Connor & Benito, who have earned their AKC CH, CGC titles. Connor earned his RN & RI title and is working on his Rally advanced title. Benito is enjoying retirement.
“The Boys” often accompany Lisa on trainings and are great at teaching other dogs how to behave. It’s important as a trainer to be skilled in many different training techniques and to know how to use them effectively. She is always attending seminars and continuing her education to stay on top of new methods and to better her skills.
